Responsibilities* Provides both administrative and technical system support for AAUM's Camp Michigania operations. Participates in the development and planning and coordinates implementation of Camp Michigania projects, office procedures and machinery.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

Greet, interact and provide outstanding customer service to campers, staff and visitors Provide supervision of Michigania business office including overseeing the administration of accounts payable and accounts receivable, perform A/R and A/P as backup,reconciling camper ledgers, accepting payments, and issuing refunds In collaboration with technology and finance teams, review and update camper application and payment processes as needed. Follow Alumni Business processes that are maintained from the central office in Ann Arbor Provide supporting documents for all payables, refunds etc. Prepare credit card reconciliations and send to Business Office for review monthly Train seasonal staff on customer service standards including scripting, how to answer questions and creating relationships with campers on the phone and in person. Work with the marketing and communications team to maintain and update content of Michigania web pages including making recommendations for enhancements. Coordinate dissemination of information during emergency situations. Provide project coordination for program areas, operations, data management and facility asset tracking. Provide support to tech team, including CRM usage and recommendations for enhancements. Manage schedule and communication with Camps Council Volunteers Communicate with Faculty Forum speakers to fulfill their needs while at camp Coordinate the schedules of the Office Assistant and temporary or seasonal staff. Supervise and train the Michigania Office Assistant and temporary staff, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth through regular performance reviews, guidance and encouraging training while presenting new techniques, and recruiting and hiring new staff members as required. Responsible for administration of Michigania office budget including tracking expenses. Utilize facility management software to maintain database of all equipment, buildings, vehicles, watercraft, maintenance and capital assets and depreciation. This includes data entry of new purchases, updates and changes. Process requests for reports and data. General Duties and Responsibilities

Staff Alumni Association events as needed. Provide staff support to the Alumni Association's Board of Directors and its committees Coordinate special projects as assigned or required. Participate in Alumni Association committees as required. Participate in appropriate team and staff meetings. Remain current with respect to technology and resources. Share knowledge through internal communications. Represent the Alumni Association at University and Alumni functions as needed. Support Alumni Association vision and strategic plan Supervision Received

Direct supervision is received from the Executive Director of Camp Michigania.

Supervision Exercised

Direct supervision is exercised over the Office Assistant and temporary employees.

Required Qualifications* A bachelor's degree is required and three years of relevant experience is required. Bookkeeping experience is required. Highly organized with strong project management skills. Must have knowledge of wireless connectivity, common software, and the ability to troubleshoot basic technology issues. Manage VOiP phone system, multifunctional copy machines and printers Have working knowledge of Office application suite, and strong skill set for Excel and Word. Experience in evaluating complex systems. Strong problem solving skills. Proven ability to manage many tasks concurrently, continually setting priorities on emerging requirements and changing timelines. Results-driven and solution-oriented. A proven ability to generate creative, innovative solutions to issues and a can-do approach to developing solution strategies. Demonstrated readiness to listen with care and to work with others collaboratively to reach critical decisions, and the ability to communicate effectively about difficult decisions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work in team environments. Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service and high levels of productivity. Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise judgment in setting work priorities is required. An ability and willingness to quickly learn the history, traditions, mission, demographics, faculty, current programs, departments, etc. of the University of Michigan, the Alumni Association and Camp Michigania.
