Position Description:
As part of Ryder Corporate and Facility Services, the Facility Services Supervisor will handle a variety of tasks for the Management of facility operations for a 24/7 corporate office. Candidate will have experience with phone maintenance.
Requirements:
5 years min experience in the industry Bachelors degree or equivalent certifications, experience in facility or construction related fields ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication and organizational skills with emphasis on customer service Strong problem solving skills and ability to react quickly to resolve issues Self motivated, positive attitude, high-energy individual who can multi-task well Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others towards mutual objectives
Responsibilities:
Hands on repairs for all safety, facility and security issues Responsible for procurement of most services, equipment and supplies to Facility Services Coordinate all moves, changes and additions of office space and work stations Coordinate work with outside vendors for work that cannot be performed by this position Oversee contractors to ensure timely delivery of maintenance and testing of facilities systems and equipment Assist in timely processing of vendor invoicing for work performed Develop a complete PM program for the facility with the ability to maintain and report on the PM program Coordinate with senior management and communicate the scheduling of system test for proper notification to all employees Telecommunication experience a plus Provide leadership for TMC Emergency Management Team Responsible for maintaining facility Emergency Response Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
