The Housekeeping Aide must demonstrate the ability to perform a variety of cleaning services and replenishing duties and to understand and follow all hospital policies and procedures as well as Housekeeping departmental policies and procedures for cleaning. The Housekeeping Aide is required to maintain assigned areas in accordance with established standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
Education : High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
Experience: Prior Housekeeping experience in hospital, motel, hotel, nursing home, a plus
Skills: Courtesy in all communication with peers, other hospital staff, patients and visitors is required at all times. Must be able to use buffers, mops, wringers, and other housekeeping equipment. Problem solving ability is required.
Typical Physical Demands: Good eye sight, back strength, arm and leg strength, mental alertness, constant lifting and bending, walking 85% of time. Pushing and pulling 30-35lbs
