The Sundial Beach Resort and Spa located in sunny Sanibel, Florida has an immediate opening for a full time Pizza Cook. Ideal candidates have flexible availability, excellent customer service skills and the desire to provide an exceptional experience for our guests.
$300 Sign On Bonus
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all functions and jobs within the kitchen as needed with the ability and knowledge to create dough, sauces, specials and assist with menu development.
- Oversee the hot line and expedite as needed, as well as oversee production in the pizza kitchen.
- Assist with training; helping team members to develop and improve their skill level.
- Ensure completion of all prep and menu items in accordance with recipes and special requests.
- Create daily specials and meet with the staff and cooks to conduct tasting/training.
- Prep for foods such as dough, salads, ice cream stock and back up items.
- Provide fast, friendly and responsive customer service to culinary co-workers and restaurant service team.
- Maintain the highest sanitary standards.
- Maintain neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times.
- Maintain safety and security in work station.
- Other duties as assigned.
Our compensation package includes a $13.00-14.00 hourly wage, medical, dental, vision, life, vacation, paid holidays, short term disability, and more!

Requirements
- Demonstrates creative ability.
- Ability to constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects (up to 80 lbs).
- Ability to stand for long hours at the time.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Exhibit positive attitude towards guests and team members.
- 1-2 years of progressive culinary experience with knowledge of basic cooking techniques
- 1-2 years lead line experience and a willingness to learn and develop additional leadership skills
