Retail Referral Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

As a Retail Referral Specialist, you will work in offsite retail locations (not Aaron' s stores) and handle 2nd and 3rd tier credit approvals. With the goal of bringing our customers one step closer to ownership, you will help drive performance in: determining the best lease transaction approach for the customers (Progressive Leasing or Aaron' s) while maintaining the highest levels of customer service. Duties and Responsibilities: - Explain Progressive or Aaron' s leasing options with customers that do not qualify for tier 1 financing options. - Enter customer information into online retail referral portal to create an agreement - Verifying customer identification and references, take the 1st payment, and obtain customer' s electronic signature - Explain lease agreement to ensure customer understands the terms of the agreement. Education and Experience: - High School Diploma required. Some college preferred. - 3 years retail / customer service experience. Preference given to experience in processing financing for purchases: Required Skills: - Strong communications and interpersonal skills to build rapport with the retailer and customer in order to build and - maintain the relationship with Aaron' s. - Ability to explain complex legal details in terms that are easy to understand. - Proficient computer knowledge. - High energy level. - Maintain professional appearance. - Ability to travel to local stores as needed. - Schedule flexibility including weekends. - Must be at least 18 years of age As a Potential Aaron' s Associate You' ll share our purpose and passion for making a real difference in the lives of others and the rewards that come from creating strong personal connections for life.
