Job Description

The Siemens Molecular Imaging Sales and Marketing department has a passion for innovation and an uncompromising commitment to bringing great products to the worldwide diagnostic imaging market.

The Marketing Intern will provide a support function with the planning and execution of customer facing activities related to competitive Siemens sales opportunities. They will participate in strategic positioning and preparation of customer visits to support the Siemens sales team with demonstrating the benefits of Siemens solutions and closing deals. Siemens Sales activities he/she will support include:

* National and international Siemens customers visiting Siemens factories in Knoxville, TN and Hoffman Estates, IL.

* National and international Siemens customers visiting Siemens Global Clinical Reference Sites.

The Marketing Intern will also play a key role in project management of multiple national and international Siemens marketing activities including:

* Webinars

* Key expert contracts

* Marketing deliverables such as product brochures, PowerPoints, etc.

Additional projects he/she will support include:

* Development and implementation of collaboration projects with Siemens Molecular Imaging customers.

* Development and growth of Siemens Key Clinical Experts

* Development and growth of International Fellowship programs

What you will learn:

During your internship, you will work closely with members of Siemens Molecular Imaging Product Marketing, Siemens Global Sales Force, and Siemens Product Management teams. As an intern you will learn:

* The application of strategic sales and product positioning in a competitive market place

* How the sales cycle works within today's healthcare environment both nationally and internationally

* Will obtain customers facing experience by working directly with Siemens customers including key thought leaders in the industry

* Project management and time management experience

What we require:

* Currently enrolled in senior year of 4 year degree

* Strong communication and critical thinking skills

* Very strong organizational skill set

* Creative and flexible with an eye for thinking outside the box

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

* Candidates enrolled, or completed, courses in Marketing Strategy, Professional Selling, Organizational Communication Process, Professional Skills, Business and Professional Communication, or International Business preferred
