We are looking for an experienced Pastry Cook who strives for excellence in a fast paced work environment. This position reports to our Pastry Management Team. Work authorization for this location is required.
Responsibilities
Prepare sweet items, pastries, cakes, cookies, muffins, fruit compotes, guest orders and banquet event orders in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language Previous baking/pastry experience required -- minimum of 6 months or equivalent course Must be able to articulate basic recipes and their methods Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety procedures
