Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:

This position will be part of the Strategic Procurement Purchasing organization and responsible for specific tasks within the workflow process of purchase orders, quotes and invoices. The position will process the intake of quotes and invoices associated with hardware and software, hosting, SaaS and subscription services categories as well as the SAP requisition step in creation and submission of purchase orders to the vendors. This position will interact with analyst and management in the IT Finance department and vendor representatives, primarily AP, AR and sales representatives.

The primary responsibilities of the Purchasing Analyst include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinate the electronic and paper workflow of IT spending activity throughout the Purchasing and Payables department from the points of receiving email and traditional mail submissions to hard copy output and distribution to the appropriate teams for processing

- Maintain the daily intake tracking tools to monitor purchasing and payables transactions

- Tracking tools include spreadsheet database entry, uploads to SharePoint, and the time stamping/scanning of physical documents

- Perform invoice research using tracking tools and financial systems (PeopleSoft, SAP)

- Prepare and submit new vendor setup requests, as needed

- Enter purchase requisitions into SAP

- Coordinate SAP purchase requisition submissions with Ariba Administrators, IT Asset Management and Treasury Fixed Assets

- Submit purchase orders to the vendors / supplier, verify receipt and track pertinent data of submission.

- Create and publish quarterly vendor spend report

- Support Year-End Accrual process

- Primary backup for Retail/PBM Purchasing

- Confirm receipt on all orders

- Report Department Metrics Required Qualifications:

- Ability to collaborate with and meet the needs of multiple internal stakeholders while effectively interacting and communicating at all levels of the organization

- Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume office environment

- Strong technical accounting, analysis and process skills with exposure to fixed asset processing and reporting

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and financial systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, & Operations positions

- Strong knowledge and proficiency in MS Access, Ariba, and SAP

- Experience working in and supporting an IT technology environment

- Familiar with corporate capital budgeting and forecasting

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience required. Business Overview:
