Summary
BEAUTY SALES REP PART TIME
Advantage Sales and Marketing wants highly driven, outgoing esthetic professionals to be Beauty Sales Representatives on behalf of a variety of customers. A part time Beauty Sales Representative drives brand awareness and advocacy by working directly with consumers, and store personnel. The Beauty Sales Rep promotes over-the-counter a variety of products such as hair and skin care products as well as "DIY" hair and beauty products. They also work closely with store personnel to build and maintain strong relationships, providing training on various products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and leverage relationships with key influence and decision makers in assigned stores and markets.
- Establish and maintain business relationships between store personnel and clients in order to effectively execute program objectives.
- Effectively gain front end and main aisle presence for client brands.
- Distribute program literature and samples to cashiers.
- Assist customers based on their individual usage needs and interests.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent job-related experience, preferably having completed cosmetology school or currently in process.
- Must have skincare knowledge such as understanding the difference between emollients and surfactants.
- Previous retail sales experience preferred.
- Demonstrates skills and behaviors pertaining to Achieving Results, Consultative Selling, Initiative, Organization and Planning.
- A dynamic, upbeat salesperson that exudes high energy and execution excellence.
- Should possess basic computer, retail store math and wireless PDA skills.
- Competence with Microsoft Office Software.
- Ability to work full-time or part-time retail schedule, a variety of days.
- Daily access to a PC computer with internet/email access.
