Staffmark is partnering with a well known and leading manufacturing company in Lebanon, OH. We currently have an opening in the warehouse for a Distribution Administrator on first shift. This position is primarily responsible for effectively initiating and completing the shipping, customer service, and receiving efforts within the distribution center in an effective and timely manner. This is specifically accomplished through the following responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Initiate and complete shipping functions.

Create delivery notes for customers.
Consolidate multiple deliveries for customers.
Assist in routing orders on cost effective carriers.
Generate shipment documents (Bill of Lading) for customer orders.
Prioritize and group customer deliveries for on time shipping.
Create warehouse floor transfer orders for order fulfillment.
Confirm, update and print completed shipping documentation as needed.
Request quotes for truckloads and make selections based on price and other criteria.

Initiate and complete customer service functions.

Handle incoming calls on customer orders.
Handle incoming e-mails on customer orders.
Track and file copies of shipping documents for customer orders (both freight and parcel).
Act as contact person for shipping carriers as needed.
Ensure special handling requirements for customers are met.
Maintain Lebanon LTL routing guide and customer shipment specifications documents.
Assist with maintaining and strengthening relationships with transportation companies.

Initiate and complete planning functions.

Communicate with manifold assembly and post processing departments on materials needed for upcoming orders
Schedule priority for and communicate with retail bagging and kitting department
Perform some inventory movement functions as needed (i.e. transfer orders for moving materials from one department or storage type to another).

Initiate and complete receiving functions.

Assist in scheduling of inbound shipments.
Assist in resolving receiving exceptions from vendors (internal and external).
Communicate expedite receipt requirements to receiving associates.

Assume other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a High School diploma or GED certificate. The candidate will be a well- organized/detailed oriented team player that will take the initiative on follow-up and will question the legitimacy on specific customer information. Prior demonstrated customer service experience and communication skills as well as a professional demeanor are a must.
