About this job

This position will report directly to the Production Supervisor and be responsible for coordinating activities for the shift supervisors as it relates to shift paperwork, SQF compliance, and daily shift activates by performing the following duties:

ROLES AND RESPOSIBILITES:
Ensure all shift paperwork (production and SQF related), is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
Responsible for the initiation of non-conformance and rework procedures.
Responsible for completing CAR's (Corrective Action Report) in a timely manner.
Check and document daily call-offs and inform supervision of this information.
Responsible for the crewing and daily O.T. requirements and review with shift supervision.
Responsible for all tracking reports and information in Dayforce software.
Assist with the daily tracking of KPI's and Shift Variation Reports.
Responsible for compiling and submitting the daily end-of-shift report.
Assist Supervision with documentation related to events, employees, or any circumstance relevant to the relative shift.
Ensure completeness of shift KPI boards throughout the shift
Responsible for performing all job requirements in a safe manner and being a proactive model for co-workers.
Perform quarterly safety audits and report findings to safety committee.
Assist with the cleanliness of the work areas.
QUALITY/ FOOD SAFETY EXPECTATIONS:
Follow all food safety practices and processes applicable to the departments.
Perform/execute job duties keeping the company's commitment to quality in mind.
Monitor and maintain all food safety activities as part of daily tasks.
Perform GMP audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED Required. Higher Education a Plus. • Read, write, and comprehend English. Technical writing desired. • Strong computer skills required. • 1-2 years related experience in a progressive manufacturing setting desired. • Knowledge of food GMP’s a plus. • Food or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience a plus. Must be able to work 7a-7p, 2-2-3 schedule.
