As an organization, we are in the process of fundamentally evolving how the Insights function shapes the way PepsiCo understands, leverages and shapes behaviors and expectations. A significant part of this journey involves advancing Global Insights capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the organization as the availability of 21st century data sources increases. Our leadership is looking to transform the function to drive greater objectivity and globally consistent decision-making practices. This will be accomplished through accessibility to new data, communicating information and thinking and working in a highly approachable, "open" and actionable format to uncover unique insights into consumer and shopper behaviors; and provide informed direction on specific activities PepsiCo can undertake to drive growth.

One key differentiator in PepsiCo Insights journey is its global scale and best in class talent across the organization which will be wired through a new global Guild structure. Global Guilds will create communities for the biggest and most strategic practice areas within Insights (e.g., Innovation, Shopper, Analytics, etc.) . The Guilds will enable individuals and thought-leaders across the organization and the globe to inspire, build and develop new methods and thinking across the Function.

Accountabilities

Works with guild Executive Sponsor (B2+) to set the focus for the Guild; identify potential SLAM team topic areas; and remove roadblocks when they occur

Project Manager, work with Guild Executive Sponsor or Sub-Sponsors (B1+), country managers and suppliers to oversee guild participation details: group involvement and conversation; identifies and coordinates experts to advance thinking of global guild; identify members of the Guilds to participate in the SLAM teams; jump-start SLAM team participation,

Tracks project progress and owns document library for guilds to ensure improved knowledge management of key questions

Become proficient (in-house expert) on Ways of Working to train and create greater acceptance and utilization of key behaviors / practices across the organization

Support the necessary technology required to support global guild efforts

Provide critical support for SLAM teams to ensure working against key strategic question and timeline in effective and expected manner

Partner with the Director, Global Guilds, to deploy and execute the roll-out of the global guild network, including enhancing understanding of key practices and thinking as well as creating and enhancing support material

Help lead cross-functional exercises to increase the organizational awareness and acceptance of the global guild thinking to improve the utility and value of the work

Partner with the learning community to roll-out training material to improve the capabilities and understanding of global guilds across the global Insights community

Qualifications :

3-5 years of experience leading a insights, market research/insights/analytics, competitive intelligence or other similar function with demonstrated ability to manage function in a complex environment with multiple constituencies

BA/BS required (Masters preferred)

Strong ability to roll out a new thinking or capability and influence the thinking and behaviors of senior leaders

Highly analytical, motivated, decisive thought leader with excellent managerial skills.

Deep, broad and current consumer packaged goods experience to be able to both identify and initiate appropriate partnership alliances and acquisitions including subject matter expertise in Insights (e.g. Innovation, Shopper, Consumer or Analytic Insights).

Familiarity with social media and/or experience moderating groups or community formation will also be helpful

Able to influence and work through others to effectively navigate matrixed organization while ensuring that necessary stakeholders are informed

Strong communication skills; is able to educate and influence management and senior leaders to act in a desired manner through written and verbal communication.

Future-oriented thinker with expertise in external practices and trends to ensure the continued evolution the capability

Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences
