The Pastry Cook is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. Providing the guests with a selection of delicious pastry choices and fresh bakery products on a daily basis and are all part of this exciting position, our pastry kitchen is always in overdrive, meeting the demands of all of the hotels Food and Beverage operations. The pastry cook prepares desserts & pastries in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. The Kitchen presents and endless amount of opportunities of learning and growth for line cook positions of all levels.
Requirements:
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for pastry work and a keen sense for flavors, color and texture in what they produce. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are required in this position. The pastry cook works together with other team members on a daily basis to ensure a flawlessly executed final product and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors is required. Proficient knife skills are also required. Position also requires continuous standing for up to 8 hrs per shift and the ability to lift up to 70lbs. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
