Cashier

As a cashier at WingStop, an individual will have to take and give out orders to the kitchen staff. He/she will have to be quick and efficient in communicating with crew members and kitchen staff to make sure the guests get their orders on time. A cashier will have to balance their cash drawers, listen and solve customer queries, and replace food if necessary. The individual has to be an ideal team player as this is a very fast paced and strenuous job, which requires him/her to be in the good books of everyone, including the guests.

We are looking for highly motivated, honest, reliable, friendly personality, and hardworking individual to join our team.

The position requires a flexible work schedule and must be able to work nights, weekends holidays as well as extended hours as needed. We are open from 11am-midnight. The positionwe are looking to fillis for the evening shift which is typically 5 to close but may vary. Must be able to stay to at least 12:30 am to close the store.

Must be able to ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a guest-friendly environment. That includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components for Guest Service.

Must be able to efficiently take guest orders, answer questions, and correctly handle money. Expedite packaging of food and handling to customer. Ability to efficiently multi-task.

Must be a team player and work well with others. Maintain and follow appropriate cleanliness, sanitation, safety standards. Included maintaining a clean environment not limited to the specific duties of this position.As a team player, be able to pitch in and help everyone in maintaining the store.

Cahsier and restaurant experience a plus!

Requirements

A Restaurant cashier has the greatest perceived responsibility – direct guest contact. The cashier is responsible for greeting every guest when they arrive within 3-5 seconds, answering the phone, taking accurate orders, and delivering completed orders to the guest – all with a great attitude and a smile. Every Team Member is responsible for representing the culture and mission of Wingstop to Serve the World Flavor!

Guest Experience: Must have an outgoing and positive attitude in dealing with guests. Greet all guests in a timely manner (3-5 seconds at most). Ensure that each guest has a positive, long-lasting impression of the Wingstop experience. Handle all orders and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure that we provide a quality product to all guests with quick and friendly service. Immediately notify the Manager of all guest issues or complaints. Resolve low level guest issues with efficiency and a positive attitude.                                

Team Oriented: Must work well with others and support the Wingstop Team. Immediately notify the Manager of all safety, sanitation or employee issues. Must have a proven ability to work well under pressure and at a fast pace. Must listen well to team members and provide feedback. Must be willing to assist all other positions when necessary.

Process Compliance: Ensure the safe handling procedures are followed at all times. Must have up-to-date knowledge of all product and procedural changes. Responsible for opening and/or closing the restaurant. Follow the cash management process, and properly ring in all sales through the POS system. Work to better the guest experience by asking for add-on sales that will complement their order. Verify if the proper age requirements are met of all guests’ requests that involves alcoholic beverages. Keep the interior and exterior of the restaurant clean and staged.
