Research Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Summary: Primary function of this role will be to assist the R&D team with hybridoma sequencing and cloning.

Essential Duties:
* Perform DNA sequencing of VK/VH chains from hybridoma
* Clone VK/VH sequences into expression vector for recombinant expression
* Maintain and transfect mammalian cell lines for recombinant protein expression
* Validate expressed antibodies using ELISA

Education:
* B.Sc or an M.Sc in biology, molecular biology or related field of sciences

Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of molecular biology experience within an academic or industrial lab setting
* Proven hands on experience of successful DNA cloning projects
* Working knowledge of general molecular biology techniques (PCR, DNA purification, sequencing)
* Familiarity with computer software for expression construct design and sequence analysis
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
