Data Entry/Inventory Clerk

Data Entry Clerk to help transfer data into their new ERP (enterprise resource planning) system (Plex).

This is strictly a contract position expected to go until Mid April, however that could easily be extended if there are kinks in the system or more work that expected comes out of the project.

These contractors will be looking at hard and soft versions of inventory and product data and putting it in to the new system. They will need to reconcile the data and making sure all information entered is correct. Putting in wrong information can throw the entire system off and cause serious problems.

Occasionally they will also be going to the inventory room to count boxes of raw materials and finished products to enter into the system.

Another task that may occur is calling some of their 450 vendors for updated e-mail information and enter all their correct information into the new system.

They will be on a computer 80% of the time and doing inventory count/making phone calls the other 20%.

There may be some other duties as assigned just depending on what happens with the project so they need to be somewhat flexible.
