About this job
A large steel company in the Spokane area is looking for a talented individual to join their growing team! This individual will be in charge of tracking our orders and projects by working with our customers, coordinating detailing, production, shipping, and subcontracting teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver a quality project on schedule and in budget to our customer by coordinating detailing, production, shipping, subcontracting and customer relations
Serve as the primary customer and job site contact
Maintain current, organized, and concise records for each job
Work closely with Drawing Coordinator on drawing status
Manage outside detailing companies, ensuring that the contract scope is met
Answers or coordinates answers to all job related questions via communications with the general contractor, engineer and architect
Manages the erector and joist / deck supplier when they are under our contract
Travels to jobsites
RFI / ASI / CCD review
Generates change order proposals
Issues Production Notes to the Assistant PM for distribution
Maintains Fabsuite files per job
Field error review
Job closeout
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal skills
Computer-proficient
Fabsuite Project Management, Drawing management, Material management comprehension
Thorough knowledge of job-site construction and steel fabrication
