About this job
As a Pharmacy Clerk, you would be responsible for performing the daily functions of shipping and packing of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. You will be cross-trained on other functions (e.g. cold packing, single bagging, control room and bulk packing) within the facility as assigned. Your efforts will affect the lives of thousands of patients who rely on these critical specialty medications packed and shipped by Pharmacy Clerks like you.
The hours of this role are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 months of experience in a shipping/packing role in a distribution setting
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at one time
- The ability to walk/stand for the length of the shift
- Experience with using a 10 key pad on a computer
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Education
A verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.
Clinical Licensure Required N/A
