Small Engine Repair Technician - Full-time

As a small engine repair technician you will be responsible for repair and service of Stihl Power Equipment, assembly and selling of Stihl product and maintaining the service shop. As an Ace Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing legendary customer service by offering helpful solutions to customers’ home improvement needs.

Provide amazing customer service at all times

Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.

Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management

Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards

Responsive of safety issues

Conscious of shoplifting activity

Solicit customers to join our Ace Rewards membership program

Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures and policies

Answer incoming phone calls per store policy

Ability to assess and perform service to power equipment repair and warranty

Uphold all shop requirements

Possess strong communication skills to communicate with customers, co-workers and management

Have a willingness to learn a wide variety of products

Participate in all store training programs

Be proficient at executing all store services, such as mixing paint, cutting keys, screen

Be alert for shoplifting activity and take action as per store policy

Know and be able to perform a cashier duty as needed

Use of common sense and good judgment at all times

Perform other tasks as assigned by store management

 Minimum Requirements

Solid team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn

Exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail and ability to multi task

Physical ability to stand for an extended amount of time

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Retail, Hardware and/or commercial paint experience is a plus.  Compensation is commensurate based on experience.
