About this job

Our manufacturing client in Corona is seeking a talented Operations Clerk to be in charge of purchasing, inventory control, and safety/quality. The Operations Clerk reports directly to the Production Manager and will be writing purchase orders for rolls, raw materials and supplies. Seeking someone with a minimum of 5 years experience, advanced computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), typing a minimum of 45wpm and AA degree preferred.
This is a temp to hire opportunity paying $14-16hr.
Job Description:
Write purchase orders for rolls, raw materials and supplies
Assist with managing month ending inventory counts
Update product/roll inventory on daily basis
Responsible for weekly report updates
Post-production quality checks (finished goods)
Attend and record minutes for weekly SQE meeting (Safety, Quality, Environment)
Record daily production performance
Contact suppliers for available roll lists
Keep in contact with vendors/suppliers for shipping status
Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager and/or VP of Operations

Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
High attention to detail
Adaptable to change
Able to multi-task, prioritize and respond with appropriate sense of urgency
Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Minimum 5 years experience
Typing 45+ WPM with high accuracy
Associates Degree preferred
