About this job
The role of
the anesthesia tech is to expedite, facilitate, and support the clinical work
done by the professional anesthesia personnel. They are responsible for
managing the anesthesia equipment and its proper maintenance, including procurement,
assembly, troubleshooting, dismantling and cleaning.
High school diploma or GED. One year
Anesthesia tech or EMT experience. Broad knowledge of medical terminology and
pharmacology, and knowledge of sterilization techniques. Must have understanding
of anesthesia and anesthesia related equipment and techniques and basic ability
to troubleshoot anesthesia and anesthesia related equipment.
