PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Catering Delivery Driver position is responsible for the execution of all catering orders that are delivered to the Schlotzsky's consumer. In addition, the catering delivery driver serves as a brand ambassador and must represent the brand positively in all aspects of conduct.

The Catering Delivery Driver position is responsible for the execution of all catering orders that are delivered to the Schlotzsky's consumer. In addition, the catering delivery driver serves as a brand ambassador and must represent the brand positively in all aspects of conduct.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Delivers all catering orders at the proper time and to the proper location.
- Ensures that the catering delivery vehicle is fully stocked with supplies.
- Follows all applicable traffic laws when driving the catering delivery vehicle.
- Keeps informed of all upcoming catering orders.
- Verifies all catering orders prior to departing to ensure order accuracy and completeness of order.
- Validates that all items ordered and charged for match the invoice for the guest.
- Demonstrates excellent guest hospitality skills in every interaction with the guest.
- Maintains a positive attitude during stressful situations.
- Canvasses delivery area for other potential catering sales opportunities.
Other Responsibilities
- Consults with management regarding customer issues.
- Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect.
- Must become familiar with and adhere to Company cash handling policies.
- Must become familiar with and adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
- Must maintain a positive attitude and follow the direction of managers at all times.
- Must adhere to strict safety and sanitation standards.
- Report to work timely for each scheduled shift.
- Arrive and depart from work meeting all uniform and grooming standards.
GENERAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess the appropriate Driver's license in compliance with State codes for driving delivery vehicle.
- Must not have more than 1 moving violation within the past 12 months.
- Essential functions of the position include, but is not limited to:
- Lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Able to more items up to 30 pounds for distances up to 25 feet.
- Able to hear, understand, and respond to employee and guest requests in a loud environment.
- Dexterity to safely transport packaged food from production facility to delivery vehicle and to secure items for driving.
