LPN Operations Educational Coordinator-Advancement Opportunity

Aerotek is reviewing resumes of LPN Clinical Trainers in the Greater Kansas City Area. We're currently looking for LPN's that are registered in Missouri. Our client is a well established corporation in North Kansas City, Missouri, looking for a nurse that would rather work in the office than a hands on setting.

This position would be creating and implementing training protocols. This is not a short term opportunity. Long term career oriented nurses only please. Individuals who would like to grow with the company.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Clinical Training experience
• 3+ years training RNs or LPNs, ideally in a corporate setting
• 3+ years Clinical LPN experience, Managed care experience: this includes referral managment/prior authorization, or utilization management
• Experience developing a training program from the ground up.
• Experience utilizing a wide variety of clinical software
• Experience training remotely.
• MO LPN License
• Must be willing to submit to a standard drug screen and background check.

Nice to Haves:

• Veteran
• Knowledge of Veteran Administration Health System-2 years of healthcare experience (in a hospital or med surge floor)
• 2 years of team lead or supervisor experience (in a hospital or med surge floor)

Job Description:

• Trains all new hires on the LPN and RN team locally and also remotely for different hub locations.
• Develops new training material, constantly updating material.
• Teaches material in a way that is comprehensive and easily followed by the team.
• Primary clinical resource for referral management and medical documentation review.
• Makes daily staffing assignments for team
• Coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for team members.
