Bilingual Customer Service Representative wanted for Healthcare company

Must Haves:

1) Fluent in Spanish
2) at least 6 months of outreach experience.
3) prior experience working in human services or dealing with the public

Qualifications:

- HS Diploma required (Associates & higher preferred)
- Experience making presentations to groups, ability to follow directions, handle pressure and work in a fast paced environment.
-Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior outreach experience huge plus if within healthcare or working with developmental disabilities��

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Conducts face-to-face and phone outreach and enrollment services, including education on OPWDD managed care, to clients in presentations at designated OPWDD offices or other community sites within the region as directed.
  2. Conducts group presentations to consumers, designees and authorized representatives at venues designated by OPWDD
  3. Assists the Outreach Supervisor with selected duties.
  4. Presents OPWDD managed care options to clients and assists clients in understanding their health care plans.
  5. 5. Contacts health care providers to confirm plan affiliation
  6. Assists clients in the enrollment/disenrollment process.
  7. Maintains positive relationships with city staff, OPWDD, community groups, and clients.
  8. Maintains updated knowledge of the New York Medicaid CHOICE Project.
  9. Raises issues of concern and/or problems to the supervisor or Project Manager.
  10. Receives, sorts, and processes enrollment/disenrollment forms.
  11. Reviews enrollment forms for accuracy and completeness.
  12. Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the corresponding annual performance criteria and bonus template for this position.
  13. Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

Full time position: Mon-Fri between 8am5:30pm.
