About this job

- Provide power system design, switchgear control engineering and technical project management for power generation systems projects.
- Candidate will be working with Sr. Engineer. Increased project number is the reason for the position (need to add another EE).
- This EE will get trained into being able to run with projects completely from getting specs from the customer, engineering the switchgear/generator, overseeing it's construction, and traveling to the customer site to install and commission the switchgear and generator.
- Through this process this individual will be programming PLC's (GE, Square E, and Allen Bradley's), engineering the layout and design of the switchgears and generators, programming and installing touchscreens into these units.
- - Approve project engineering documents - Bill of Materials, Schematics, and Mechanical Layouts.
- Create PLC ladder logic programs.
- Create Touch Screen programs.
- Create Protective relay settings and logic.
- Specify and document initial factory settings.
- Create Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning check lists, as required.
- Commission projects in the field, as required.
- Provide Commissioning reports after site visits.
