General Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Meritage Hospitality Group has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to join our Casual Dining Division.  This role will proactively manage daily restaurant operations, while empowering each team member to focus on strategic processes, procedures and initiatives to drive profitability.

POSITION SUMMARY

Job Title: General Manager 
Reports to: District Manager
Education: High School Diploma and Hospitality or Business degree desirable 
Experience: 3 years Restaurant Management experience 
Compensation: Salary and benefits package, meal discounts, bonus plan and other allowances

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with our Support Center and District Manager to ensure adherence to Meritage processes and procedures, focusing on increasing sales, minimizing costs and maximizing profit 
• Empower your team and set expectations making training and development a top priority
• Establish and maintain positive business relations and conduct within the greater community including vendor relations, community engagement, guest recovery and outreach
• Provide accurate and efficient administration and financial reporting, remaining accountable and exercising operational excellence with the utmost integrity
• Proactively maintain adequate staffing levels to deliver impeccable guest service, ultimately developing a strong team with potential for upward mobility and ability to achieve growth
