Overview:

Sleep Number is seeking a highly effective Executive Assistant II to provide a wide-range of executive administrative support for the enterprise-wide leaders and their direct reports to enable leaders to focus on our customer and business driving activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage calendar, email and voicemail management while proactively anticipating challenges and conflicting priorities for multiple executives
  • Responsible for making domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Interact with all levels of internal employees and external partners
  • Create/edit presentations/correspondence for review with some instruction
  • Responsible for budget reconciliation and expense processes
  • Handle information requests and coordinate execution of company-related programs
  • Prepare various Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents to ensure accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism
  • Coordinate and manage office supplies
  • Lead document management and filing
  • Assist team in the development and coordination of executive presentation materials for a variety of meetings
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong prioritizing, organization, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Task oriented, organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks; flexible with a high degree of initiative, and ability to balance fluctuating workload
  • 8+ years experience supporting at the executive level in a fast-growing environment
  • Advanced calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office 2010, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience scheduling travel arrangements for management
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and modifying processes to enhance internal customer experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required – post-secondary degree preferred
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff
  • Ability to take direction from many managers.
  • Proactive anticipation of the needs of the leaders.
  • Ability to establish trust and handle confidential information
  • Ability to successfully manage interruptions during the workday to meet employee and company needs
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed
