Position Title: Licensed Massage Therapist
Scheduled Hours: Full or Part-time/On Call-Various flexible hours to be determined upon hire.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITES: Responsible for the comfort of guests while performing massages and body treatments according to the standards and procedures of Narande Spa.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to perform all the basic massage techniques, including but not limited to hot stone, pre-natal, and reflexology modalities according to Narande Spa procedures and standards.Analyze and consult on medical needs with guests prior to treatments according to Spa guidelines and safety measures.Ability to handle guests in difficult situations and under pressure.Adaptability to varying schedule changes and flexibility with schedules.Keep service/treatment products filled and ready for next service or therapist.Maintain cleanliness and organizations of Spa treatments rooms.Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner.Ability to arrive to Narande Spa within a one hour notice during scheduled hours.Assist Spa Manager as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/PRE-REQUISITES:
- Licensed by the State of Arizona
- 1 year of experience preferred
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and upward reaching.
- Exposure to spa and cleaning chemicals.
- Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
- Assist in training new personnel as needed.
- Properly use empowerment within given guidelines to satisfy guest requests.
- Offer suggestions to improve overall operation of Spa, by communicating with Spa Manager.
- Complete special projects/events as assigned.
