Role Overview
Renewal Specialist is trained and focused on using proven sales and technical skills to close all assigned renewal opportunities. They proactively contact current customers in an effort to consult/sell all renewal, upsell, and cross-sell product options. The Renewal Specialists will work with licensing account managers, licensing specialists, and manufacture vendor representatives in maximize company performance on renewals.


Key Areas of Responsibility
* Proactively call customers providing them with renewal product options
* Respond to email or phone inquiries from Account Managers and Customers regarding their expiring products
* Develop business relationships with Account Managers
* Identify new business opportunities and consult with Account Managers and other Product Specialists
* Manage lead lists/renewal portals to maximize time, effort and sales
* Work with other Product Specialists to better serve customers
* Respond to renewal inquiries from Account Managers
* Attend Vendor specific and Renewal Specialist related trainings
* Attend on-line license trainings and earn partner certifications where available
* Maintain business relationships with assigned manufacture.

Responsibilities
* Manage pipeline of quotes/orders
* Develop innovative, new ways to reach renewable opportunities
* Work hand in hand with the sales and licensing specialists to help drive sales
* Be responsive to Account Managers and customers
* Attend events, participate in vendor floor days and trainings
* Attend external trainings and conferences (Managers approval)

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* 1 year sales experience.

Other Required Qualifications
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to creatively problem solve.
* History of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to all stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in business, or related field.
