Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate certified home health aides live in's to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
As a live in home health aide you will reside in the client's home on either a short term or long term basis. Assignments could run as short as 1 (24 hour period) or could last several months. This will be determined according to your client's needs as well as your availability.

Requirements to be a Certified Home Health Aide Live In:
As a live in home health aide you will reside in the client's home on either a short term or long term basis. Assignments could run as short as 1 (24 hour period) or could last several months. This will be determined according to your client's needs as well as your availability.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Alzheimer’s Care
Requirements to be a Certified Home Health Aide Live In:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Must have a current physical (within the past calendar year)
- 1st and 2nd step PPD's OR 3 consecutive years of PPD's. If you have had a positive PPD - we need a current chest xray from your doctor with the results and it must state that you had the chest xray done due to a positive PPD. The chest x-ray must be within the calendar year.
- MMR Vaccination OR Rubella and Rubeola titers.
- It is highly desirable, and adds to your marketability, if you possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance. Given the nature of the job, if you do not possess these items, special accommodations can be arranged.
