Monday Thursday: 7: 00am-4: 30pm
Friday: 7: 00am-11: 00am
2nd Shift
Monday Thursday: 4: 00pm-1: 30am
Friday: 10: 30am-2: 30pm
Busy season: Hours may fluctuate between 40-48/week
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This position requires an individual to build wooden structures; build and repair wooden structures, or the wooden parts of structures. Work assignments are usually in the form of rough sketches or oral instructions and some will be accompanied by blueprints or drawings. The candidate is frequently expected to develop (with assistance) exact work designs from minimal description of the object.
A candidate may be expected to:
-Spray and hand finishing
-Color mix and color match paints, stains, and lacquers
-Sanding cabinetry before painting and in between each coat
-Hand glazing
-Various stain application techniques
-Inspecting all pieces before painting
-Taking care of and cleaning the finishing equipment
-Overseeing co-workers and being able to clearly communicate tasks to them
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
-A knowledge of specialty finishes and different wood types
-Excellent time management skills
-Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
-Strives to do their best and deliver 100% customer satisfaction
-Be able to follow direction and willing to learn new skill sets
-Be a team player
-Able to be on time and consistent
-Able to excel while working in a fast paced environment
-Ability to manage each project in an organized way.
-Reliable transportation.
Required experience:
Finishing, Hand Finishing, and Sanding: 2 years
