Are you the experienced food service manager we're seeking?

We are looking for candidates who can:

implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve customer satisfaction; monitor patient tray operations and daily meal rounding; interact with patients and the nursing staff;

Employee training for compliance, safety, sanitation, customer; Creates a positive environment and successfully motivates and manages team. Cash handling/management in the Cafe when needed perform tray assessments, training, stocking/inventory of the floors; and perform some HR functions and direct supervision of hourly associates.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies Previous experience working in a high volume facility Strong management skills, preferably in health care but not necessarily if you are also a dietitian The successful candidate will have at least 2 years food management experience, a strong working knowledge of food safety and sanitation compliance, computer literacy as well as excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.

Position Summary

Responsible for managing multi-functional food service areas in a single unit. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
