About this job

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

*Patent Prosecution including drafting/revising claims; responding to office actions and strategy decisions

*Litigation Support, including legal research

*Product Clearance and IP Due Diligence work, including product and patent analysis for acquisition or licensing targets

*IP Agreement work including negotiating and drafting IP license agreements, development agreements and consulting agreements

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

*Current, full-time or part-time law school student pursing a juris doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and looking to specialize in intellectual property law (specifically, patent law)

*Prefer first year students, but will consider 2Ls on a case-by-case basis

*Eligible to sit for the patent bar exam (prefer degrees in mechanical or electrical engineering, physics or biotechnology);

*Top 25% or 3.2 GPA preferred

*Must be available to work at least 40 hours a week Monday-Friday

*Excellent communication skills both oral and written
