Prepares all hot food items for cafeteria, patients and catering according to standardized recipes, catering sheets and patient talley sheets.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Prepares all food items as assigned in accordance with standardized recipes for patients, cafeteria and catering.
Equipment is to be used and cleaned according to manufacturers' directions. Work area is to be kept neat and cleaned thoroughly prior to end of shift.
Appropriate documentation of temperatures are utilization of leftovers.
Problems or errors with recipes must be documented on the recipe and turned in to Production Supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
Demonstrates effective verbal communication.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school education or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education: Education in Food Service or cooking preferred.
Preferred Experience: Three years experience or equivalent in an institutional cooking, preferably in a health care setting.
