Description

WIS International (wisintl.com) is expanding and hiring a new Branch Manager in our Retail Merchandising Services division. This position exists to recruit, hire, train, audit, and supervise PT field Merchandising Reps within a defined geographic area as well as to achieve both profitability and service goals in support of company objectives. Incumbent will also supervise two or more field Team Leaders in assistance.

Location should be within 100 miles of Denver, Colorado.

This is a work from home management position. The incumbent will be provided sufficient tools and allowances toward that end. Space in an existing WIS office might be available for those that prefer. Field work including some overnight travel is typically at 60%. Overnight travel is dependent on hiring and supervisory needs and is typically 25%, but could be several successive nights depending on the branch needs.

The Branch Manager will:

· Develop weekly Rep work schedules, cultivate customer relationships, resolve any customer concerns, and consistently deliver a high level of field service.

· Attract a quality flexible (PT) workforce through sourcing networks; properly hire and train a sufficient quantity of Reps to complete a variety of field-based work.

· Conduct frequent field audits to train, and to verify work completion and quality.

· Conduct office-based “photo and data audits” of finished work to gauge quality of the Reps work.

· Comply with company equal employment opportunity objectives.

· Coordinate assigned field work/project completion by maintaining frequent communication with subordinates, their Supervisor, the Customer, as well as with the WIS account management department, and Customer Support Center personnel.

· Monitor branch office progress by reviewing and producing reports that gauge progress toward the attainment of personnel, financial and service goals.

· Contribute to company growth efforts of new accounts by identifying potential new customers in the marketplace.

· Help reduce Workers’ Compensation expenditures by promoting and participating in safety awareness and accident prevention programs and by creating a culture of safety practices in the workplace, carrying out appropriate corrective actions procedures to avoid legal costs and training and enforcing fair employment practices among all employees.

This position normally requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related curriculum (waived with experience). General knowledge/experience with financial statements, applicable labor and fair employment laws, as well as knowledge of word processing and spread sheet software (i.e., MS Office), is essential. Must be highly knowledgeable about the technical nature of the merchandising business and have a good understanding of its processes.

Experience:

WIS prefers candidates with two to three years of experience in CPG merchandising or similar field representative or retail management experience, experience in effectively managing and leading large numbers of hourly employees in a service related industry (as a team lead, district manager, or similar), and experience in successfully building and managing teams of people.

Skills:

· Ability to ensure high quality, profitable service levels.

· Ability to establish and maintain recruiting sources to ensure sufficient WIS representatives are available to complete the varied tasks assigned.

· Ability to select, hire, train, develop, and deploy field personnel to ensure the successful performance of their principal duties and responsibilities.

· Ability to effectively communicate with subordinates, management and, external customers to ensure proper coordination of the project.completion process.

· Ability to track progress and measure results against financial and service goals.

· Ability to oversee and promote a safety culture of all employees at all times whether in the office, travelling or while providing services.

** Incumbent must have reliable transportation in order to travel to various customer sites to manage the merchandising process. Must have a valid driver’s license and sufficient insurance coverage. Must pass an MVR check by WIS standards.
