We are currently searching for a per diem Registered Nurse to join our established team at the Palmer Residential Treatment Center. The RN will serve as a Unit Nurse, being responsible for delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders. You will serve actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program philosophy of care to ensure the safety and well-being of each patient.

This position requires a current Alaska RN license as well as either an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. You must be able to demonstrate sound leadership skills and have the ability to utilize these skills in organizing the activities and schedules for medical and/or non-medical tasks. Clinical and interpersonal skills and the ability to be an exemplary role model to others, as well as having the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a variety of clinical and support teams are a must. Confidentiality is a must for this position. In order to perform this job, knowledge of adolescent growth and development is essential as well as skills in applying these concepts within a therapeutic treatment environment. Familiarity with management of therapeutic level systems is a plus.
