Providence is calling a Pharmacy Technician 2 - Acute Care (0.9 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will:
Perform duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner.
Fill/dispense oral and intravenous (IV) medications, triaging patient orders, and maintaining the integrity of the Pyxis Profile System.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Current Oregon Board of Pharmacy Technician registration
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
Inpatient experience
Experience with HBOC/HMM/Horizon Clinical/Pyxis Med station, Pyxis CII Safe and Pyxis Connect
