Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (0.7 FTE, Evenings) to Providence Child Center, Center for Medically Fragile Children in Portland, OR.

This is a 28 hour per week, evening shift position in busy, active long term care setting. Great position if you enjoy working with children!

In this position, you will:

Perform basic nursing tasks while providing quality care to children and assists them in the activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN).

Perform all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and philosophy of the Center for Medically Fragile Children (CMFC) and Providence Health and Services.

Required qualifications for this position include:

Registered as a CNA 2 in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider In compliance with the Department of Human Services, criminal history registration is required for this position, based on assigned duties Fingerprinting may also be required

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

1 year of experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting

We are the only pediatric skilled nursing facility in the Pacific Northwest, providing 24-hour long-term, short-term, respite and end-of-life care to medically fragile children and young people ranging in age from infancy to 21 years.
