About this job

Intern will be working in the fast-paced environment of Medtronic Neurovascular. This role will include leading a cost-savings project , understanding the initiative behind the project and driving the project to completion in collaboration with other functional departments (such as R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Planning, etc).

Roles and responsibilities include; project planning including scheduling, understanding production processes, working directly with the manufacturing equipment, establishing manufacturing parameters, characterizes process, creates validation protocols and reports, creates manufacturing procedures, train production personnel, work with cross-functional

team to ensure all concerns and requirements are met in timely manner and present to senior management at specific intervals during the various phases of the project.

Must be self-driven and eager to learn, willing to adapt to the changing priorities, assist with

special projects and testing as needed.

Work may also involve designing fixtures in Solidworks and statistical analysis using Minitab or excel.

Qualifications

Current, full-time

(undergraduate) student pursing a degree in Engineering.

Preferred year in school --

Sophomore or higher

GPA of 3.2 or above

Must be available to work at

least 40 hours a week Monday-Friday, including working inside of a clean room.

Excellent communication skills

both oral and written

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred experience with 3D

CAD Software and MiniTab.

Hands-on / lab experience

preferred.
