About this job
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates orientation, in-services, competencies, and continuing education programs within area of specialization. Promotes a model of continuous learning through participation in education, consultation, role modeling and research. Facilitates and supports learning opportunities for the organization and the community, with particular emphasis on programs that impact the entire organization, across team lines.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field
Experience - 2 years of experience typically gained thru skills/knowledge/abilities in acute care clinical experience required; related to area of focus preferred
Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS)\Basic Life Support for Nurse Educators present in patient care areas within 90 days
Preferred Qualifications:
Education - Master's Degree or equivalent in Nursing Education or Adult Education
Experience - Education and program development
Licenses - Certification in clinical specialty or Nursing Professional Development, or acquired when eligible
