Oki Golf is looking for a hard-working, responsible person to join our turf team. Picture this: trimmed fairways, lush greens, immaculate bunkers – it’s these perfect conditions our guests expect when they visit our properties. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding these expectations.
The greenskeeper is responsible for routine manual labor tasks related to golf course maintenance, and must have an ability to operate small hand powered equipment (ie. String trimmer, walk mowers, blower, etc.) Greenkeepers are also expected to have a professional appearance and be detail oriented.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Complete assigned jobs in the most efficient manner
· Course Setup: pick up trash, set tee markers, refill sand buckets.
· Hand water turf areas
· Maintain bunkers and landscape beds (ie. Picking weeds, mulching, moving sand)
· Mow greens, tees, fwys, & rough
· Create a welcoming environment for guests and fellow team members
· Do your part to ensure safe working environment
· Maintain effective communication with managers and fellow team members
You’re Great At
- Working with your hands, using tools and equipment comes naturally to you.
- Being efficient, but also responsible. Safety first!
- Multi-tasking, guests will often chat with you during your daily routine.
You Don’t Mind:
- Working outdoors in any condition; early mornings can be chilly and afternoons very hot.
But Also You Have:
- People skills, communication is important in this role.
- Attention to detail, missed areas reflect poorly on the entire team.
- A valid Washington State Drivers License.
