Job Description

Siemens Building Technologies is currently searching for an experienced Account Executive to support our Building Automation -- Solutions -- HVAC Controls Sales group located in Orlando, FL. The primary responsibility of the Account Executive is to manage and grow assigned territory or group of accounts.

Responsibilities:

* Develops new business relationships with End-User Clients, General Contractors, Consulting Engineers, etc. to position and create a business case to utilize Siemens Building Technologies solutions in their facilities and new construction projects. Possesses the skills to communicate the impact to the customer's business objectives of utilizing Siemens solutions within their facilities. Typical End-User decision-makers contacted include C-Level executives, VP of Operations, and Directors of Facilities. Responsible to maintain/expand these relationships within assigned, existing client accounts as well as create new customer relationships. Acts as a Trusted Advisor to customers across their enterprises. Typical vertical markets targeted include Healthcare, Higher Education, Data Centers, Life Sciences (R&D), and Commercial Office space

* Achieves booking and gross margin goals

* Develops and implements plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territory

* Team sells with other Sales people as appropriate

* Ensures a smooth sales-to-operations turnover and monitors progress. Assists in resolving installation, collections and other customer satisfaction issues as needed. Assists customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products, services and recommends suitable resolutions accordingly.

* Prepares accurate and thorough sales activity reports, forecast reports and expense tracking

* Strategic Account Planning and Management

* Estimate, propose and bid on DDC projects

* Maintain relationships with Architects, owners and General/Mechanical contractors

* Build and maintain a DDC Account base

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, although a combination of education and directly related industry experience will also be considered. A High School Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement.

* At least 5-8 years sales experience with HVAC Controls

* Estimation skills

* Effective communication skills to give presentations before a broad audience

* Hunter sales mentality

* LEED AP or LEED GA preferred

* ASHRAE affiliation preferred

* Experience with: Modbus, Lon, BacNet and Ethernet preferred

* Siemens Apogee knowledge and experience would be a plus

* Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license in good standing to meet eligibility requirements to drive a Siemens company vehicle
