At Home Instead Senior Care (Finger Lakes area), our mission is to help local seniors stay safe and secure in the home they know and love. Home Instead Senior Care is a non-medical provider of home care. Our CAREGivers assist, and supervise our seniors in a variety of day to day activities that will improve their quality of life and help them to maintain their independence. We believe that everyone has the right to age with dignity.
CAREGiver Duties
- Supervision for bathing, grooming and dressing.
- Companionship/Conversation/Walks
- Errands, Grocery shopping.
- Light housekeeping tasks.
- Laundry/ Linen changes
- Light meal planning and preparation.
- Medication and appointment reminders.
- Incidental transportation.
- Alzheimer's/Dementia Care.
- Verbal cues for activities of daily living, and more
Requirements
- Experience is helpful, but not necessary. Training is provided.
- Compassion, dependability, patience and respect for seniors and their homes
- Criminal background check, Department of Motor Vehicles check and drug screen.
- Professional and Personal references
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
