Van Driver - Full-time

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are searching for Professionals who are interested in driving in the Paratransit industry. CDL NOT REQUIRED! The Paratransit Operator is responsible for Safely operating a van-type vehicle. The primary objective of the Driver is providing Safe, Reliable, and Efficient public transportation. We offer Full Time Positions!

Duties:

·       Loading and unloading of passengers on/off vehicles.

·       Transporting of passengers that are persons with Disabilities.

·       Four-point securement of wheelchairs and scooters.

·       Escorting passengers from vehicle to/from first portal of locations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·       Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT Physical.

·       Must pass background check.

·       Able to read a map and have a strong knowledge of the Washington Metropolitan area.

·       Possess excellent communication and decision-making skills.

·       A current copy (within 30 days) of your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) is required upon application, must be Certified and cover a minimum of the last 5 years.

·       Excellent attendance record.

·       Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Read, Write, and Speak Fluent English.

·       Operate on-board mobile data terminals.

·       Must be at least 23 years of age.
