Providence is calling a Senior Construction Project Manager to Providence Health & Services in Torrance, CA.
We are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to be responsible for day to day management of capital projects located within owned and leased properties. Typical project sizes range from $25,000 to $500,000,000.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for providing project leadership, coordination and facilitating teamwork of project teams to meet project goals.
Be accountable for direct supervision of construction project managers. Assist in the development and growth of the construction project managers.
Be responsible for assigning projects to construction project managers.
Be responsible for maintaining and reporting project update list. Lead construction project manager update meetings.
Have the ability to effectively communicate technical standards to construction project managers.
Have a good understanding of applicable codes and regulations.
Be accountable for developing and maintaining project budgets.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture or business management.
Eight (8) or more years for commercial construction experience with five (5) years in a health care setting.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license.
Working knowledge of infection control procedures.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be able to travel.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's degree in construction management, architecture or business management.
PMP certificate.
