Superior Home Services is seeking challenge-driven and self-motivated candidates for open positions within our Insurance department.



Position Purpose:



Insurance Associates initiate and administer the hazard insurance claim process, from claim filing through to claim resolution.



Position duties:




  • Claim Filing and Follow-up: provides notice of claim and initiates follow-up to ensure claims process is completed.

  • Data-Entry and Document Management: performs data entry to document tasks performed and information received during claims process.

  • Claims Analysis: reviews claims correspondence to confirm accurate claim resolution.

  • Customer Service: builds lasting client satisfaction by maintaining positive professional relationships and providing excellent customer service.

  • Time Management: performs and documents tasks within required time-frames and provides timely client updates.



Minimum Qualifications:




  • At least 2-3 years recent experience in an office environment and/or administrative role involving the use of Microsoft Office Suite Programs

  • At least 2-3 years recent experience in a client-facing role involving customer service and initiating follow-up

  • At least 2-3 years recent successful experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute with an 80% accuracy

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong multi-tasking ability

  • A combination of experience and education may be considered



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Associate’s Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree in business, construction or a business-related field

  • Experience in default servicing

  • Experience in residential construction as a project estimator, insurance inspector, or similar role.
