Client in Lemoore is seeking a Billing Specialist
  • Prepare and review monthly progress billings, and change orders
  • Prepare monthly billings
  • Prepare bids and change orders for clients and make sure signed and approved copies are in the job files
  • Balance closed jobs and make corrections to job costs
  • Prepare the Work In Progress report monthly to book earned and unearned revenue
  • Make journal entries
  • Prepare job cost reports weekly
  • Oversee coding and/or review for correct coding on all invoices
  • Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
  • Prepare necessary AR and AP backup for all pass-through invoicing
  • Perform additional billing duties as assigned
  • Opening installation/repair jobs and doing time and material billing
Requirements:
Two years of billing experience required
Knowledge of Sage 100 Contractor preferred

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Effective verbal communication
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of accounting processes
Interpersonal skills

Assessments will be required for this position.
