Job Description:

Organize and oversee the Diversion Restaurant Operation. Ensure quality of food, beverage, service and ambiance. Maintain proper staffing and timeliness of Restaurant.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Hire staff, discipline staff, evaluate their performance and document all aspects of their employment.

Implement training programs (both group and individual) to stress service, safety and product knowledge.

Oversee maintenance of all equipment, linen and cleanliness of Restaurant.

Staff Restaurant for optimum labor costs and maximum service. Write accurate schedules within designated staffing guidelines.

Maintain uniform inventory and linen inventory. Perform all other administrative functions required and communicate information from management meetings.

Complete payroll accurately and on time.

Responsible for P & L Statement.

Work in a safe manner at all times and follow all safety procedures as outlined in your Standards of Conduct and Loss Prevention Manual.

Qualifications:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for supervision of entire restaurant staff and management.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Background in food and beverage management, knowledge of hotel and food and beverage and minimum of three years experience in fine dining restaurant setting. Knowledge and Proficiency with Open Table, Microsoft Office, Training and Marketing preferred.

NECESSARY LICENSES/ CERTIFICATIONS

San Diego County Food Handler's card is required prior to the start of employment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, guests, customers, and the general public. All of the above to be done fluently in English.
