We currently have openings at our Distribution Center for various processing positions. There are full-time positions operating during the hours of 10am-8pm Monday-Friday. These positions come with the opportunity for potential overtime for qualified associates.
Responsibilities
Marker: This position is responsible for attaching tickets to merchandise. All information is verified against paperwork and tickets are validated through use of the scanner prior to performing the marking function, then tickets are attached to the carton or merchandise using one of the various ticketing methods.
Merchandise Processor: This position is responsible for accurately processing merchandise by store and preparing merchandise pallets for shipment. All information is verified against paperwork. Merchandise is separated by style, description, size and color and, if necessary, hangers are changed in the garments department and all necessary paperwork is completed. Merchandise is moved onto or from pallets, floor, rollers or racks by hand and separated by store or location. Scanners are used for accurate inventory and location tracking.
Freight Handler: This position is responsible for separating merchandise by store and transporting merchandise to other locations. Merchandise is moved onto or from pallets, floor, rollers or racks by hand and separated by store or location. Scanners are used to ensure accurate inventory and location tracking. This position also builds and shrink wraps pallets of merchandise and prepares areas for the next order by disposing of debris and properly stacking unused pallets.
Power Equipment Operator: This position is responsible for loading and unloading trailers, assisting in processing orders and transporting merchandise to proper locations. Merchandise is loaded or unloaded by hand or with assistance from power equipment and split by store number or warehouse location. A scanner is used for accurate inventory and location tracking, including scanning all boxes and pallets to a warehouse location.
Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
