Lab Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

An industry leader in Huron Oh has an immediate opening for a lab Technician.

         $14.00/Hour

         Hours: 1st shift; 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

         Temp-To-Hire potential

Duties include:

         Performing all tests per Part 572 test procedures, or approved Customer/Engineering procedures

         Support and assist other Labs as required

         Communicate with laboratory supervisor and manufacturing on a regular basis to insure rapid resolution to issues and consistency of applied methodologies

         Assist in the training of customers and new certification laboratory technicians as required

         Assist Engineering with all test procedure, test equipment, and/or product performance issues.

         Maintain the physical lab and equipment related to the calibration laboratory. This activity includes general housekeeping as well as maintaining a program for all required equipment to insure continued tractability to and compliance with ISO/IEC Guide 17025.

Requirements include:

         2 year technical degree or equivalent

         2 year degree in Physics or Science background preferred

         Experience in instrumentation discipline or related field

         1-3 years of laboratory experience preferred

         Familiarity with production software, MRP systems, and Microsoft Excel

         Prescreen testing required
